In-Home Play Therapy

Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) is a 10 session play-based treatment program designed for parents/guardians of young children who have behavioral, emotional, social, and attachment issues. This program that teaches parents/guardians how to conduct special play therapy sessions with their children at home. The core belief of CPRT is that a secure parent-child relationship is crucial for a child's overall well-being.

The main goal of the training is to improve the parent-child attachment bond, thereby reducing child behavior problems and alleviating stress within the parent-child relationship.

In CPRT parents learn specific skills to foster a secure attachment with their child and techniques to effectively manage their child's misbehavior. Parents apply these skills in weekly play sessions with their child and receive feedback based on the play session recordings.
