The Play Therapist clinic is located in beautiful West Haven, NSW 2443.

The playroom is intentionally designed to support your child in feeling safe and welcome during their weekly sessions. This is your child’s own space, where they can freely express themselves in whatever way they need.

Children communicate through their play. To encourage your child's self-expression, the playroom is equipped to nurture your child's confidence and encourage self-challenging play.

All services align with the Child-Centred Non-Directive Play Therapy model. In this approach, the child—not the therapist—is empowered to take responsibility for making positive changes in their life. While working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist I discovered a love for all things play and a joy for supporting children to build confidence in themselves. My interest developed into a passion for Child-Centred Play Therapy and led me to complete a year long training program under Dr Brenna Hicks, Child-Centred Play Therapist, and owner of The Kid Counsellor Centre, Florida, USA. https://www.thekidcounselorcenter.com/. Child-Centred Play Therapy is founded on the belief that children are capable and able to move towards a more positive and self-empowered self.

I now work exclusively in the Child-Centred Play Therapy model at my playroom in West Haven NSW 2443.
